Climate measures - Join the 'Klimrek' survey for potatoe farmers!

By completing this survey, you can be co-architect of the 'climate scan' for your sector and help to develop climate measures with farm economic profit that enable climate robust farms.

Can you be climate-conscious and make smart economic choices?

Klimrek is an agricultural VLAIO project that started in September 2019. The Agricultural Research Centre (ILVO), Innovation Support Centre (Innovatiesteunpunt, ISP) and VITO are working together for four years on climate measures for dairy farmers, pig farmers and arable farmers with potato in rotation.

Through the Klimrek project, ISP, ILVO and VITO want to help arable farmers to be climate conscious, without losing sight of profitability. Climate measures with farm economic profit enable climate robust farms.

The project partners look beyond the boundaries of the farm. The climate scan will take into account the entire life cycle of the agricultural product, up to and including the moment the product leaves the farm.

Call for input of potatoe growers

A sector survey is the first step for the arable farming with potato in rotation. With this survey, the project team wants to be able to make a thorough assessment of the sector's concerns in relation to climate and climate measures.

The project team wants to rely on farmers' experiences and expertise.

By completing the survey, arable farmers can be co-architects of the climate scan.
