The partnership with AVR and the joint pursuit of (harvest) optimization through digitalisation is not new.
While AVR focuses on the development of smart harvesting machines and therefore collects harvesting data via sensors and yield measurements from the field in AVR Connect, VITO Remote Sensing offers data and insights from space.
Measurements, drone and satellite data are brought together and visualized in WatchITgrow.
The grower receives a detailed, accurate and up-to-date picture of the growth and health of his crops/field, yields are optimized.
The central data sharing platform Djustconnect (ILVO) allows growers to interconnect various digital applications and consciously manage access to their business data.
All this with the aim of better, personalized advice and fewer administrative actions for the farmer.
